Babies grow up frighteningly fast — at Oh Baby Photography we help Sacramento families slow down and freeze the milestones. Our milestone photography sessions are designed for the major first-year stages: 3 months (smiles + tummy time), 6 months (sitter session), 9 months (crawler), and 12 months (first birthday + cake smash).
The Four Milestone Sessions
3-Month Session — Baby is now smiling, holding their head up, doing tummy time. Editorial portraits in our climate-controlled studio. Mom often joins for breastfeeding/bottle-feeding portraits.
6-Month "Sitter" Session — Baby can sit unsupported. We capture that proud sitting milestone with multiple themed setups. Most popular standalone milestone session.
9-Month "Crawler" Session — Baby is mobile, full of personality, and laughs easily. We add interactive setups, parents often participate.
Sacramento families who book all four milestone sessions in advance receive a bundle discount. Many of our clients also pair the first year bundle with their maternity and newborn sessions for a complete "pregnancy through first birthday" story — typically 6 total sessions across 15 months.
What to Expect
Sessions are 1 hour for milestones (vs. 3–4 hours for newborn — babies have a shorter attention span at this age)

When to Schedule
Book each session within 2 weeks of the milestone date — so 3-month session at 2.5–3.5 months, 6-month session at 5.5–6.5 months, etc. Schedule the entire year of sessions during pregnancy or right after newborn session to lock in your preferred dates.
