We schedule SF sessions during off-peak commute windows — late morning Tuesday through Friday is ideal. Total drive time from the Sunset, Marina, or SoMa is 80–95 minutes via I-80. Maternity Session Timing
We recommend SF clients book maternity sessions for 28–32 weeks of pregnancy. Most San Francisco moms combine the session with a Sacramento day — Old Sacramento, the Crocker Art Museum, and Sutter Brown's are all worth visiting after your shoot.
Newborn Sessions
For newborn sessions, we schedule for days 5–14 after birth. SF families typically time their drive for late morning, when baby is most likely to sleep through the longer car ride. We have a sanitized prep space, bottle warmer, and changing area on site.
